Frequently Asked Questions

As a Counsellor, my aim is to build a trusting and therapeutic relationship with you whether in person or online. Here are some common questions you may have before starting counselling.

How many counselling sessions would I need?

Each client is unique so it is difficult to say, at the outset, how many sessions you would need. The first session is an assessment and at the end of that we will discuss the way forward and what that plan for counselling would look like.

Do I have to travel to Donaghadee for counselling sessions?

No! Counselling sessions can be online using Zoom, Teams, FaceTime or other platforms or on the telephone. Clients come from all over NI, the UK and Ireland so using these alternatives makes it accessible to all.

How much does a counselling session cost?

£50 for individuals for 60 minutes
£70 for couples for 90 minutes

Can I have an evening appointment?

Evening appointments are available on Wednesday evenings and can sometimes be accommodated on other evenings depending on availability. Please get in touch and we can discuss what is best for you.

Can I park close by?

Yes, there is free parking available.
