About

Lynda Graham Counselling was established in 2013 and since then has grown and developed into a thriving Counselling, Supervision and Training practice.

I am now based in Donaghadee and see clients face to face, online or on the telephone. This means that I am not restricted to the locality and can work with clients throughout Northern Ireland and Great Britain.

I have over 30 years’ experience working with individuals, couples and families, initially as a Social Worker and latterly as a Counsellor.

First Assessment

As a Counsellor, my aim is to build a trusting and therapeutic relationship with you, whether in person, online or telephone. It is essential that you feel safe and that your confidentiality and privacy are respected and regarded. I do not ask you to sign up to six sessions but instead use the first assessment session to see how you feel about counselling and together we can decide how to go forward. This allows you to decide if you are comfortable working with me as your counsellor and in the therapeutic space.

Person-Centered

I believe in the Person-Centred approach to counselling, which allows you to begin where you are ready to and to progress at the pace which suits you best. Everyone is different and each client is unique so your counselling will be tailored to you and your needs. I will use different techniques and strategies if necessary to enable you to tell your story and move forward with your life.

My major qualifications are as follows
